The Hells Angels are going to war with MTV … and one of the network’s biggest stars … who allegedly STOLE the motorcycle club’s famous death head logo and plastered it on t-shirts.

The man at the center of the controversy is “Fantasy Factory” star Rob Dyrdek … whose company owns the “Young & Reckless” clothing label … created by his cousin Chris “Drama” Pfaff.

The Hells Angels are suing Rob’s company and MTV — claiming Y&R designed and sold a bunch of t-shirts that “bear a design confusingly similar to the [flaming skull logo]” … and they never asked for permission.

In the suit, filed in federal court in California, HA claims the logo has great commercial value … because of its “very widespread public recognition” which evokes “strong and immediate reactions whenever used.”

The Angels claim Dyrdek’s actions have caused “substantial damage” to the biker club … and believe MTV violated their rights by broadcasting the stolen logos on “Fantasy Factory.”

The Angels are seeking unspecified damages. Calls to MTV and Rob Dyrdek have not been returned.

The announcement followed the identification of its owner, 29-year-old Ikuo Yokoyama of Yamamoto, who was tracked down by Harley-Davidson Japan after they learned of the bike’s discovery through the media.

Haida Gwaii resident Peter Mark first stumbled upon a container housing the motorcycle last week while walking along a Graham Island beach. Golf club, tools, and camping gear were also found inside.

“I would like to thank the man who found my bike in person,” said Yokoyama, who lost three family members to the tsunami. “Thanks for coming back buddy,” he added, referring to his bike.

Harley-Davidson will arrange to have the chopper shipped directly to Yokoyama once it has been restored.

Writer-producer Kurt Sutter will make his first foray into unscripted TV by executive producing and appearing in new series titled Outlaw Empires (first trailer below). The series will examine crime organizations such as the Crips street gang, the Irish Mob, a Latin American crime family, the Aryan Brotherhood and, yes, outlaw bikers. Each episode will include interviews with a criminal organization’s current and former members, some of whom are in hiding, and tell tales that Sutter promises will “make Sons of Anarchy look like Sesame Street.”

The show will differ from other cable documentaries by striving to capture the perspective of the criminals inside the organization — not unlike Sutter’s fictional Sons — rather than heavily depending on the perspective of law enforcement.

“I’ve made a career writing about fictitious anti-heroes,” Sutter said. “To create these worlds, I’ve spent a lot of time with active members on both sides of the law. And if I had to pick the most interesting of the two, the choice is obvious — we all love the guys in black. It’s not so much about justifying bad behavior, but to hear it from the inside out instead of from a distant law enforcement social judgement call.”

The tales include a gang leader who gave up the location of his own mother when she was targeted for a hit. “As a storyteller, I listen to this stuff and think: ‘I couldn’t pitch this, nobody would believe it,’” Sutter said. “For me, it was about getting inside the head of these people and understanding what drew them to this life. What’s important is to get at the humanity of it all.”

Sutter will also have a minor on-camera role, offering some of his own perspective and research on each subject. Discovery has ordered six episodes of Outlaw Empires and scheduled a May 14 debut. Eli Holzman, Stephen Lambert and Philip Lott are also executive producers on the project, which is from Sutterink and Studio Lambert.

The Constitutional Court said wearing them was an “unacceptable showing of force that might intimidate and threaten the parties to the proceeding” and a ban was a “preventive condition for a safe and unimpaired trial”.

The court overruled a complaint lodged by Hell Angels’ member Rayk F., convicted by a civil court in Potsdam to one year prison for complicity in extortion in 2010.

He had forced the owner of a tattoo parlor to “cooperate” with Hells Angels, threatening to snap off his head and intimidating him by placing a dead sheep on his doorstep.

Rayk F. complained his trial was unfair since the presiding judge, in consultation with the police, prohibited him and his Hells Angels backers from wearing their motorcycle club’s jackets at the trial.

Dad-of-five and grandfather-of-one John Henry Tattersall was killed when the Suzuki bike he was riding was in collision with a car near Hendy on March 11 last year. Mr Tattersall, who lived in Llanelli with his wife Joanne, was a member of motorcycle club Y Demetae before joining Swansea- based club Y Rohirrin MC. Now the club has raised more than £400 for the service, which helps deliver vital blood supplies.

Shifta, their spokesman, said: “Blood Bikes Wales provide an essential service where a serious road traffic accident has occurred and being bikers, Y Rohirrin MC Cymru hold this organisation along with the Wales Air Ambulance close to their hearts as we know how many bikers are involved in accidents these days. “It was only a year ago that Y Rohirrin MC lost John Tattersall, one of their members. “So we decided to hold a charity event and this year our chosen charity would be the Blood Bikes Wales, because they are quite new and need all the help they can get.” Blood Bikes Wales rider Don Minett, said: “It’s very much appreciated.”

Y-Rohirrin MC was founded in 1988 by some friends who grew up together they initially went to rallies and stayed outside of the whole MCC/MC argument by being neither. After partying with a lot of different MC’s we decided it was for us. We started our charter in November 2000 and changed our bottom rocker to Cymru in 2006.

Rohan Reapers is now growing from strength to strength with Swansea and Bridgend Chapters and looking forward to visiting other clubs and rallies in 2012.

The 21-year-old man was driving a blue Kawasaki ER-5 motorbike in Swansea at around 8.50am when he lost control of the bike.

The man was rushed to hospital, but later died from his injuries.

Police closed the carriageway for four and a half hours while they conducted initial investigations.

A police spokesman said: “South Wales Police are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision that occurred at approximately 8.50am on Sunday 11th March at the A483 Fabian Way, Swansea at the junction with Baldwins Terrace.

“A blue Kawasaki ER-5 motorcycle driven by a 21-year-old male was travelling east on the A483 Fabian Way from the direction of Swansea in the direction of Jersey Marine when it collided with the traffic island at the junction and then the railings on the far side of the junction.

“The rider of the Kawasaki motorcycle was conveyed to Morriston Hospital, Swansea, by ambulance.

“There he was treated for multiple injuries which proved fatal.”

South Wales Police would like to speak to any person who witnessed the collision or stopped to provide assistance, who has not yet given their details.

Swansea Council’s Cabinet has approved a proposal to stage the event between March 1 and 4 in what’s believed to be the biggest event of its kind in Wales.

Council Leader Chris Holley said: “We have a fantastic chance to bring an event to Swansea that has proved hugely successful in Weston for the last 20 years.

“It attracts thousands of visitors and we are hoping for a similar economic boost for the city centre, local hotels and businesses too.

“It’s important that we take the opportunity to bring this event to Swansea for the benefit of everyone.”

The Welsh Beach Race will be a one-year pilot after which the Council will assess the benefits and environmental impact of the event.

A report to Cabinet said that the event will encourage greater take-up of local hotels in the off-season and the potential for coverage about the city to be broadcast to millions of homes via Sky Sports.

Russell Greenslade, chief executive of Swansea Business Improvement District, said: ‘We strongly expressed our support on behalf of more than 800 city centre businesses for this event to happen in Swansea so it’s fantastic it has been approved to go ahead.

“I am confident businesses in the city centre will benefit from the thousands of people this event brings in. Reports back from Weston Super Mare where this event has been based in the past have been very, very positive on all fronts so it’s great it’s coming to Swansea.”

Cllr Holley added: “Swansea’s Promenade is already home to the fantatsic Wales National Air Show which attracted more than 100,000 people to the city last summer.

“Beach motor-cycle racing has a proven record of being able to attract tens of thousands of fans and it’s hoped this event will be a great opportunity to build on the success story of the air show for our city and its businesses.”
